Do you deliver?
Yes, contact your local Jones & Sons for delivery options.

Does mulch attract termites?
No, termites in Indiana are subterranean. They are only attracted to wood that is below the earth’s surface.

What is the difference between Hardwood Bark and regular Hardwood Mulch?
Hardwood Bark is made only using the bark of the tree while Hardwood mulch is typically made using the entire tree. For the most part, pure bark mulches hold their color better than regular hardwood mulch.

Is colored mulch safe for children, pets, and plants?
Yes, In fact, recent independent laboratory studies looked at colored mulch very closely to determine its toxicity. In the studies, toxicity is tested using a variety of reaction types — from acute oral, skin, and inhalation toxicity to eye and skin irritation. The results place the colorant used in colored mulch into the lowest and safest level of toxicity possible — Category IV ― the same level as the sugar you put in your coffee. By contrast, table salt and baking soda have higher levels of toxicity.

How long will the colored mulch hold its color?
Our colored mulch will typically maintain its color for one to two seasons, depending on the amount of direct sunlight.
